    Brandons bike

Here it is, the least blogged about bike yet!
I've been super busy making all sorts of thing for all sorts of people so not much free time.
I'm super happy about this bike, 2x10 XT drive train and brakes, Reba 100mm/15mm thru axle, Stan's rims with powertap rear hub and Thomson parts every where that it matters.
I built it up in spare moments over the last few days and had Andrew down at Olsons dial the brakes in with the pro bleed job this afternoon.

Anyway, I gotta get this delivered - I can't wait to get a ride report back from Brandon.

    tuesday evening june 5th

Welllllll,  I never really went anywhere or stopped building bikes but I definately lost a little momentum as far as blogging energy goes.

I think what happened is that I put the flickr app on my phone to make loading photos easier here and just having one more computer thing to manage put me over the edge.  All my computer energy went into loading photos and such over at the flickr site that I just didn't have it in me to do stuff over here.

On top of that, my regular work has been picking up and it's keeping me hopping.

I've finished a number of bikes since I last posted,  my aluminum road bike has at least a thousand miles on it by now and my mtb is a total champ.    I've built another bike for a local rider Brandon B. who is anxiously awaiting for his niner to come back from the powdercoaters and be built.

heres some pics of the two orange bikes.  The color was a total choke,  the plan was for it to be white base coat with an orange sparkle suspended in the clearcoat.  This is not what happened.

What we ended up with is what i'm calling 'electric adobe'  or 'sparkly terracotta'

It's not bad at all but just not what I wanted.

    saturday 2-11

Whew,  it's been a long strange build.

With nothing in the queue but some serious tire kicking I've had time to get my new race bike just the way I wanted it.  I've plugged happily away at it. content not to rush or settle for less than 'just right'.

There's a couple hours left to do on it which I plan to do this morning after cleaning the shop.

One of those things is a hose guide near the front of the bike.  I think I should have moved the insertion point for the rear brake forward a bit but it's no a big deal and way too much work to re-do.  I'll solve the routing issue on a similar bike in the shed and add what I need.

It should go to powder next week,  my guy is shooting me a test  to look at when I drop it off.  If that's a no go then it will just be white.
